Nobody show's up empty handed so make this delicious drink and it's sure to be the topic of the night.
We all know when abuela starts asking for rum , or coconut milk or any ingredients needed for this drink it was time for the holidays and abuela was making the all famous. We used to listen from the sala ( living room) for the blender to stop. We all knew abuela never fully set up for the pour in the bottle. As soon as the blender stopped it was go time. We raced to the kitchen and made our pour while abuela looked for a bottle. Of course we got caught and abuela always had the wooden spoon in hand ready to catch one of us. If you grew up hispanic you know what i'm talking about.
